Round #6 of the ISP Exam Preparation Program will begin with Call #1A on July 15-17, 2008.  Individuals who want to to sign up (include folks who started the program before but haven't passed yet) should send an e-mail to:

*     A workbook (cost $15.00)
 
*     Our version of the basic text, The Annotated NISPOM, with a lesson on searching techniques to help those who want to use it as a reference during the exam
 
*     Weekly assignments to pace Candidates through the material (timed to finish in early November so folks can test on-line before the Thanksgiving and end of year festivities)
 
*     Weekly phone calls so Candidates can review the material with their peers and with Mentors (who are all ISPs)
 
*     New this time -- mentored calls on all four elective areas (Counterintelligence, COMSEC/TEMPEST, Intellectual Property and OPSEC).  Last time we offered only two of them.
 
Before the Exam Prep Program began, the pass rate was generally in the 75% range.  The EPP pushed that to 85%, and the rate this month at Mashantucket CT was an astounding 93%!
 
The EPP has proven that if Candidates prepare appropriately and pace themselves during the test, they can pass it.  Anyone who wants to enroll in the next round of the EPP should let me know within the next two weeks.
